Construction begins on 51-story luxury tower in Brooklyn Heights
Construction has begun on One Montague Place, a 51-story luxury tower at 205 Montague St. featuring 136 residences, a jazz club, and the first Brooklyn outpost of BondST.

Landau Properties has broken ground on a 51-story mixed-use tower at the corner of 205 Montague St. and Cadman Plaza West. Designed by Hill West Architects, the project known as One Montague Place will feature 46 ultra-luxury condos and 90 rental units. Residences will start at 3,000 square feet and include private outdoor spaces with views of the New York Harbor.
The development will host several high-end amenities, including a membership club, wellness facilities, and a jazz club overseen by broker Greg Williamson. The ground floor is slated to house a branch of the Japanese restaurant BondST. Additionally, the site will include retail space and an underground garage with at least 100 parking spots.
The location was once home to the Brooklyn Dodgers’ offices, where Jackie Robinson signed his minor-league contract in 1945. A commemorative plaque from the original building is currently in storage and will be returned upon the project's completion, which is expected in 2029.
