Founders Dana K. Michel, formerly of Salesforce, and Lori Ann Pope, formerly of Meta, created AcquireLocal to help retiring Brooklyn business owners find successors.
According to the event information supplied to the Dispatch, an estimated 17,600 Brooklyn business owners are expected to retire within the next decade.
